This Privacy Policy describes how QuickConvert X (“the App,” “we,” or “us”) handles information when you use our iOS application. The App is published for iPhone only and is intended for users who need quick, offline-friendly conversion between common physical units.
The App provides local unit conversion in the following categories:
Core features include:
The App does not provide live currency exchange rates, cloud sync, user accounts, or social features. All conversion calculations use Apple’s Foundation measurement APIs on your device.
We do not collect personal information through the App for our own purposes. We do not ask you to create an account, sign in, or submit your name, email address, phone number, or location to us via the App.
Numbers and unit selections you type into the App are processed locally to perform conversions. We do not transmit that input to our servers because we do not operate application servers for QuickConvert X.
The App is designed to work without persisting your conversion history to our systems. Values you enter remain in the App’s active session unless you change them. We do not use the App to build a profile of you or to store conversion history on our infrastructure.
When you tap Copy, the App places the formatted result (numeric value and unit symbol) on your device’s clipboard using standard iOS APIs. Clipboard content is managed by iOS and may be accessible to other apps according to your device settings; we do not upload clipboard data to our servers.
QuickConvert X does not request access to the camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, or precise location for its current features. No special iOS permission prompts are required for basic unit conversion, About, or copy-to-clipboard functionality.
The App is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us using the details below and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect limited diagnostic, crash, or usage data according to your device settings and Apple’s policies. That processing is controlled by Apple, not by us. For more information, see Apple’s Privacy Policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.
The App is offered in English and is intended for a global audience. Because we do not collect personal information through the App for our own purposes, we do not transfer your personal data to our servers for conversion services. If you contact us by email, we will handle that communication according to applicable law.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Because the App does not collect personal information for our own purposes, there is typically nothing for us to access or delete beyond optional email correspondence you initiate.
You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your iPhone.
We design the App so that conversion work stays on your device. While no method of electronic storage is completely secure, limiting collection of personal data reduces exposure associated with server-side breaches.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or our practices. When we update the policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be described in App Store release notes or in the in-app About screen where appropriate.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or QuickConvert X, please contact the developer at the support email address listed on the App’s App Store product page.
